Pricing questions

Is there a setup fee or a contract?

No. There’s no setup fee and no long-term contract. No Subscription has no bill at all. Flat Rate is billed monthly, or yearly at a lower monthly price that works out to about 2 months free compared to paying monthly (for example, $49 a month billed yearly at $588, instead of $59 a month). Switch between plans any time; a switch away from Flat Rate takes effect at the end of the period you’ve paid for.

What exactly does a payment cost?

Here’s a real example on the No Subscription plan. A homeowner pays $50 in dues by card. Dometta’s 3% is $1.50. Standard card processing (2.9% + 30¢) is $1.75. Your HOA receives $46.75 (less any applicable sales tax on Dometta’s $1.50), and the homeowner’s account is credited the full $50. Bank payments cost much less: Dometta’s fee is 2% and bank processing is 0.8%, and each of those is capped at $5 per bank payment. Card payments have no cap. On the Flat Rate plan, you pay one flat price set by your number of active homes, starting at $32/month for up to 25 homes when you pay yearly, about 2 months free compared to paying monthly ($39/month). Dometta takes 0% from payments, and only standard processing applies. Sales tax, where it applies, is charged on Dometta’s fee only, never on your dues. Homeowners never pay an extra fee, and a free option like mailing a check always stays available.

Do both plans include online payments?

Yes. Full online card and bank payments are included on both plans. There’s no add-on or higher tier required to accept payments.

Can I switch plans as my community changes?

Yes, any time. As your community changes, you can move between No Subscription and Flat Rate with no penalty, right from your Dometta settings.

What if I manage more than one HOA?

Each HOA is billed independently under whichever plan fits that community best. You’re not locked into using the same plan across every property you manage.
